Supreme courts measure to reduce pollution in Delhi.
1) Light commercial vehicles with two axles will have to pay Rs 1,400 for entering Delhi
2) Commercial vehicles with three and four axles will have to pay Rs 2,600 for entering Delhi
I was wondering what is collection of increased tax to with pollution in Delhi. The Government needs reason to increase taxes. What will they do with pollution tax collection. Will they make a exhaust fan to push out pollution from Delhi. I never could figure out that why they collect pollution tax on hill station and what do they do with this tax to reduce pollution.
It makes sense to ban heavy trucks to come inside Delhi but it doesnt make sense that pollution will reduce if the truckers pay more money to enter into Delhi.
Let the winter go and the mist disappear all the noise on pollution will reduce till next year.
We are a country of short term measures, and there is no National level master plan for pollution. Why burning of any thing not being considered as criminal offense. Why there is no master plan for Bangalore Pune Hyderabad Mumbai for underground railways system. there is no need for land aquisition for these Railways. If they plan today it will take 20 years to implement.
Pollution in India is because we are ruled by polluted minds. What can you expect out of people who are techno commercially not qualified to rule.
This is a land of most Phd's - who are applying for peons position. And people who don't qualify for being peon rule the nation.
